FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A stem cell is basically any cell that can replicate and differentiate. This means the cell can not only multiply, it can turn into different types of tissues needed to heal damaged tissue or organs.
These stem cells are undifferentiated stems cells. This means they will do nothing unless they witness some level of tissue injury. It's tissue injury that turns them on. So, when a person has an injury or a degenerative type problem, the stem cells are drawn to the area of need and stimulate the healing process.
Our stem cells are derived exclusively from umbilical cord, which is the safest and least-invasive method of extraction available. No mothers or babies are injured in this process and all donors are pre-certified disease free.
Stem cells are harvested under sterile conditions using approved technology. Sterile technique and antibiotics are also used to prevent infection.
Array Medical Center is part of a national clinical trial for stem cell therapy. What this means for you as a patient is that you can get clinical data of success rates of the condition you want healed. Additionally, you can be assured that the standard of care that being part of a clinical trial brings.
You should be alert to other clinics in the area that claim to use stem cells. Many use stem cells from cadavers (yes, you get stem cells from dead bodies.) They also can't give you statistical data on successful outcomes. Our stem cells have the power of clinical trial behind it.
ALTERNATIVE TO JOINT REPLACEMENT
Last year in the US there were 3.5 million total joint replacements and many millions of other joint surgeries. In increasing numbers, people are seeking non-surgical alternatives to joint surgery. Restorative therapy is a great option for people who have been told they need joint replacement surgery. Restorative therapy can potentially regenerate your joint and help you avoid joint replacement surgery.
We use an umbilical cord tissue / blood product from a highly respected lab that captures all the greatest regenerative properties of this, otherwise discarded tissue. There proprietary method of isolating growth factors, cells and restorative therapy gives the patient the best possible benefits from a regenerative medicine product. The use of restorative therapy and growth factors has shown them to be one of the best therapeutic methods to help aid in tissue healing and repair.
